Short Description:
The OASIS project contributes significantly to the ongoing regeneration of Omagh town, with a particular focus on the riverside. The riverbank along the Strule River, has also been transformed with a new, fully accessible walk and cycle path with seating and fishing areas, so that the amenity of the river can be fully enjoyed. As the OASIS Plaza links to the town centre through Old Market Place, the Council is exploring funding opportunities to improve and regenerate this area also.
